読者の皆様へ 日 本とイスラエルのビジネス関係促進を目的とする本ガイドブックにて、 ご挨拶する機会をいただき光栄です。 近年、両国間のビジネスは首脳の相互訪問によって加速され、拡大傾向を続 けています。コロナ禍で一時落ち込む時期もありましたが、2021年は日本から 過去最高額の投資が行われるなど記録的な年でした。投資のみならず、日本 からの新たな企業進出や協業連携事例なども生まれており、両国間の力強い ビジネス関係は確固たるものになってきているのではないでしょうか。2022年 は外交関係樹立70周年、 ＥＰＡ の共同研究立ち上げ、2023年には直行便の 就航も予定されるなど、更なる関係強化の追い風が吹いていると感じます。 日本とイスラエルのビジネス関係は、モノの輸出入から投資や協業連携、研究 開発などに変化拡大してきました。日本企業はものづくりの能力に優れ、また アジア市場で培われたビジネスネットワークや経験もあります。イスラエル企業 はゼロからイチを産み出すイノベーションに優れ、卓越した人材とエコシステム を有しています。この両国の強みを活かした新たなビジネスの構築に向けて関 心の高まりは勢いを増しており、我々日本貿易振興機構（ JETRO ）は両国間の ビジネスチャンスやニーズを繋ぎ、関係の深化に向けた活動を行っています。 JETRO は、日本と世界のビジネスを促進するために、1958年に設立された日 本の政府機関です。設立以来、日本からの輸出促進、対日直接投資の促進、 中小企業の海外ビジネス展開支援、海外市場の調査研究など、その時々の時 代の要請に応じ変化しながら活動を続けてきました。 テルアビブ事務所の主な活動はイスラエルスタートアップの対日投資支援、 日本企業のイスラエルスタートアップとの協業・連携支援、そしてイスラエル の市場動向調査です。具体的には、日本に進出したいイスラエルのスタート アップに対し、専門家によるアドバイスやパートナー探し、 ＰＲ など様々なサ ービスを「 Invest Japan 」プログラムで提供しています。また、新規ビジネ ス開発に向けて先端的なイスラエルの技術を探している日本企業に対して は、「 J - Bridge 」プログラムを通じて情報提供やマッチングサービスを提供 しています。 中東に大きな地殻変動をもたらした2020年9月のアブラハム合意は、日本企業 にとっても新たなビジネスチャンスを生み出しています。 JETRO は日本とイス ラエルの関係に UAE などを加えた3カ国間のビジネス創出に貢献する取り組 みも、関係機関と協力しながら進めていきます。今後、日・イスラエル間、更に は多国間のビジネスが一層発展することを心から願っています。 廣田　新 JETRO テルアビブ事務所　所長 rest of the world. Since its establishment, we have continued our activities while changing and adjusting ourselves according to the demands of the times, such as promoting exports fromJapan, promoting foreign direct investment in Japan, supporting overseas business deployment of small and medium- sized enterprises, and conducting research on overseas markets. The main activities of the Tel Aviv office are to support Israeli startups investing in Japan, support for Japanese companies in collaborating with Israeli startups, and researching on market trends in Israel. Specifically, we provide various services such as expert advice, partner search, and PR to Israeli startups that want to expand into the Japanese market through the "Invest Japan" programme. In addition, for Japanese companies looking for cutting-edge Israeli technology for new business development, we provide information andmatching services through the "J-Bridge" programme. The September 2020 AbrahamAccords, which brought about a major paradigm shift in the Middle East, are also creating new business opportunities for Japanese companies. JETRO will also promote initiatives to contribute to the creation of trilateral business (Japan-Israel- UAE) and other regional countries in addition to the bilateral Israel-Japan relationship.
