After the successful reciprocal visits of the President of India, H.E. Mr. Pranab Mukherjee and the President of Israel, H.E.Mr. Reuven Rivlin, we are eagerly awaiting the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to mark the 25th anniversary of full diplomatic relations between India- Israel,which we are celebrating throughout this year. ‏ The previous year saw a number of ministers, captains of industry, heads of universities and start-up entrepreneurs from both countries visiting each other. The number of MoUs between universities, acquisitions of Israeli start-ups by Indian companies and mutual investments are consistently growing. ‏ The India-Israel Centers of Excellence is the largest developmental cooperation project for us in the entire world. It has transformed lives of a large number of farmers in India.Israel is very keen to partner in Make In India, Digital India, Clean India and Skill India Initiatives. Israel’s relations with leading states in India are flourishing. There is immense potential in the areas of agriculture,water,smart cities and villages and homeland security. ‏ The publication of the Israel-India Business Guide commemorates this occasion and in a meaningful way.This issue is full of useful information and tips on how you can increase your Business with the other country. ‏ I will complete my term in India towards the end of this year.But I am sure that Israel and India will grow together and the partnership will soar to new heights. ‏ I congratulate the publishers of Israel-India Business Guide for their noteworthy initiative.
