Israelis want to get on first-name basis with people they meet. This could be a put-off to some but it is merely a way of trying to become friendlier with you. ●● Israelis are considered to be among the most direct people in the world! Quite often they will interject a conversation if they feel it is going off-track because they want to ‘stick to business’. This may appear rude but its not meant to be so. As a nation that largely comprises ex-patriates, Israelis will deal with a variety of business cultures that are blended into one. Their approach is businesslike. Many of the leading businesses in the UAE are run andmanaged by Emiratis of Indian-descent.
