The summit was attended by 200 leading entrepreneurs from Israel, entrustedwith thedevelopment of technological innovation, along with Israeli scientists and businessmen. These were four intense days in which the Israelismetwithgovernment officials, investors, finance, innovationand local high-tech managers.The meetings laid the foundations for the establishment of economic cooperation between the two countries. As part of the business summit, a special "Israel Day" was held within GITEX - the technology week of theUAE, which is considered one of the largest technology conferences in theMiddle East. During it, B 2 B meetings were held between Israeli companies and local and international companies organized by the Israel Export Institute. This important meeting is the first in a series of many meetings that will take place in the future, so I believe, between business people from the two countries in order to realize the normalization and peace agreement signed between them. The potential for commercial cooperation between Israel and the UAE is high. We at the Israel Export Institute have highlighted a number of areas where collaboration can be very beneficial: The first is agricultural and water technologies. In the meetings and tours, we held in the EUcountries, we got the impression that the Emirates have a special interest in increasing local food production due to their high dependence on food imports. Israel has high capabilities in the fields of agriculture, irrigation, water management and desalination that can be beneficial for UAE. Israeli innovation in areas such as precision agriculture and smart agriculture are certainly gaining a lot of interest in UAE countries. Another area of ​fruitful collaboration can be found in the field of digital health, whose importance has once again become clear in theCorona crisis. This refers to a variety of technologies and applications that enable remotemedicine, alongwith advancedmedical technologies to improve the quality of medical care.
