36 MAT Holding is strengthening its position in the water control and treatment market Pau Relat “The acquisition of OCV will strengthen our control of the US and Canada markets” The acquisition agreement of the OCV company by the MAT Holdings Group has made the company to a more dominant player in the US and Canada markets. “The US market has always been a challenge for our Group, and now, when OCV has become a part of our family of companies, we are more secure in our future development and sure of our growth.” These words were said by Pau Relat, CEO of MAT Holdings Group, and chairperson of Dorot Valves’ Board of Directors. The MAT Holdings Group, owners of Dorot, has acquired 51% of the American valves company OCV. With this acquisition the company completes its portfolio of products in the area of hydraulic control valves and air regulators. The merger between the expertise of Dorot and the experience of OCV in the American and Canadian industries will reinforce the groups control in these markets. The acquisition of 51% of OCV Valves was executed by Dorot Valves, a subsidiary of MAT Holdings. OCV is a privately owned company established more than 65 years ago by Robert “TEX” Radford, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, US, a reputable company in this market. The signing of the agreement has taken place in OCV’s headquarters, in the US.
