הגדה של פסח המבקשת להנכיח
בספור יציאת מצרים גם את קולן
של הנשים החסרות בהגדה המ ־
קורית.
בהגדה, המוגשת בפורמט מהודר
הכולל את הטקסט המסורתי של
ההגדה, מובאים גם קטעי העשרה
המוסיפים רבדים נוספים לטקסט המקורי ומשלימים אותו. התוספות
הן מסוגים שונים: ‘עבודת טלאים’ של סיפורים קצרים על נשים גדולות
שהקדימו באורח חייהן ובמנהגיהן את תקופתן; פרקי ‘אור וצל’ על נשים
לוחמות בצה”ל ובמחתרות שלפני קום המדינה; פרקי ‘תצרף’ על נשים
למדניות שלמדו, לימדו וכתבו בזמנים שבהם הדבר לא היה מובן מא ־
ליו, וקטעים המובאים בהקבלה לטקסט המסורתי ויוצרים עמו דיאלוג.

הספר עוסק ב"משפחות משולבות":
נשים וגברים, עם או בלי ילדים משלהם,
אשר נכנסו לקשר משפחתי עם בן
זוג שיש לו ילדים מקשר קודם. בימינו
כמחצית מהמשפחות הישראליות הן
"משפחות חדשות. הספר כולל ראיונות
עומק עם הורים וילדים החיים במשפחות
משולבות, ומציג את תובנותיהם על
גורמי ההצלחה, ולעתים הכישלון, בחיי המשפחה. מחברות הספר
מנתחות את הראיונות ודנות בפרשנויות העולות מהם. להשלמת
התמונה מובאים פרק משפטי המציג את חובותיהם וזכויותיהם של
ההורים ופרק פסיכולוגי המציג טיפול משפחתי של משפחה כזאת.
הספר נכתב על ידי אם ובת, נעמה וגליה, שחוו את החיים במשפחה
משולבת.
