A
program for entrepreneurs who aspire to solve global problems
and a start-up incubator that has yielded dozens of exits
and internships at high-tech companies are only two of the
many options the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya’s pioneering
Adelson School of Entrepreneurship (ASE) offers students interested
in studying and gaining hands-on experience in this dynamic arena.
“Data indicates that a high percentage of start-ups fail due to lack
of experience, particularly in management”, explains
Prof. Yair
Tauman
,Dean of ASE. “The way to improve entrepreneurs’chances
of success is by providing themwith practical experience, along with
academic tools, right from the start. We focus on
building an entrepreneurial project and coping
with the challenges that entrepreneurs face,
not just on listening to lectures and theories.”
